Planning consultancy are an IBM distributor at that time based in West London who also provided application training to their clients.

Initially I delivered courses in Lotus 1-2-3 (DOS) at Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced Level but was able to extend my skills further to include Symphony.

I was able, with support from Geoff Head, to learn other PC applications such as  Dbase III and IV, Paradox and SMART.

I became their lead lecturer, re-writing course notes as the applications developed further into the Windows environment.

PCL sent me as a consultant to their clients and I developed a 1-2-3 Macro system to assist Air Portugal in a sales analysis system. This led to further consultancy work, one of which was a Scandanivian broadcaster called Scansat, later TV3
